Competitive Sports

URock Athletics provides student-athletes at UW-Whitewater at Rock County the opportunity to compete at the NJCAA level, beginning with women’s volleyball and men’s soccer. After five years without intercollegiate athletics, competition returned in Fall 2023, with plans for future expansion. Your support helps grow the program, providing funding for equipment, travel, and scholarships to enhance the student-athlete experience.

Nursing Program

The URock Nursing Program offers a seamless pathway for students to pursue a nursing career close to home. Students complete their Associate of Arts and Sciences with a pre-nursing emphasis at UW-Whitewater at Rock County, followed by priority admission to Edgewood College’s School of Nursing at the Rock County campus. Your support helps provide state-of-the-art simulation labs, clinical training resources, and student scholarships to prepare future nurses.
