King/Chávez Scholars
The King/Chávez Scholars Program attracts and supports exceptional incoming undergraduate students at UW-Whitewater, providing them with a strong foundation for academic and personal success. Since 1997, this program has helped students transition from high school to college through a residential learning community, faculty mentorship, and hands-on research opportunities.
Your support directly enhances:
- The Summer Bridge Program, helping students build connections and confidence before their first semester.
- Off-campus experiences, such as visits to the Milton House and local public schools, expand learning beyond the classroom.
- Scholarships for King/Chávez Scholars, ensuring financial barriers do not stand in the way of academic success.
By giving to the King/Chávez Scholars Program, you are investing in meaningful experiences and opportunities that empower students to thrive at UW-Whitewater and beyond.
